After running the AP Aging Summary report, you can export it to Excel or PDF for sharing, archival, or printing.
Before you start
- Run the AP Aging Summary report and have it displayed on screen.
- For email sharing, you should have the recipient's address handy.
Steps to export
-
On the report page, look for an Export or Download button (usually near the top right).
-
Select the file format:
- Excel (.xlsx): preserves formatting and makes sorting/filtering easier in Excel.
- PDF: best for printing or sharing as a final read-only document.
-
Click the format you want. The file will download to your computer.
-
(Optional) Rename the file with a date (e.g.,
AP_Aging_Summary_2026-07-03.xlsx) before saving, so you can track which report is which.
Steps to print
-
On the report page, look for a Print button (usually near the top right, or in a menu).
-
Your browser's print dialog will open.
-
Choose your printer and any print settings (orientation, margins, etc.).
-
Click Print.
Tips
- Print orientation: AP Aging reports often fit better in landscape (sideways) orientation. Most browsers default to portrait; change it in the print dialog.
- Save before sharing: if you want to send the report by email, export to PDF and attach it, rather than sharing a link (which requires the recipient to log in).
- Naming convention: include the "As of date" in the filename so you remember when the report was run.
