Can I print multiple bills at once?
Not in a single print job, but you can:
- Open each bill and print it individually.
- Export bills to PDF and batch-print them using your PDF reader.
- Ask your admin if a bulk-export feature is available for your organization.
What if the printed bill doesn't match the preview?
This usually happens due to browser or printer settings:
- Check your printer's driver (update if outdated).
- Try printing to PDF first to see if it's a preview-vs-printer issue.
- Adjust the print scale in your browser (often set to 100% or "Fit to page").
- If margins are off, check your printer's page setup in your OS settings.
Can I change what fields appear on the printed bill?
Yes, but only if you have template editing permissions:
- Go to Settings → Print Templates and edit the bill template.
- You can hide or show fields like "Vendor Phone," "Tax ID," "Notes," etc.
- Contact your admin if you cannot access the template editor.
Is there a way to print bills in a different language?
The bill template uses your browser's language setting. If you need bills in multiple languages:
- Ask your admin to create separate templates (one per language).
- Or, manually translate the vendor details before printing.
Why is my company logo not showing on the printed bill?
Possible causes:
- The template doesn't have a logo field (ask your admin to add one).
- The logo file is too large or in an unsupported format (try PNG or JPG, max 1 MB).
- The logo upload failed (try uploading again in Settings → Print Templates).
- Browser cache issue (clear your cache and try again).
Can I print a bill without the vendor's payment terms?
Yes, if you have template editing permissions:
- Go to Settings → Print Templates and edit the bill template.
- Hide or remove the "Payment Terms" field.
- Save the template and print.
If you don't have permissions, ask your admin to adjust the template.
What happens if a bill is very long (many line items)?
The print template will:
- Extend the bill across multiple pages if needed.
- Keep the header and totals section on the last page.
To avoid overflow:
- Use line-item grouping or abbreviations to reduce lines.
- Ask your admin to use a multi-page template that's optimized for long bills.
