Exporting and printing the Discounts by Product report

Save or print the report in your preferred format for analysis or archiving.

Jul 11, 2026

You can export the Discounts by Product report to a file (CSV, Excel, or PDF) or print it directly. This is useful for detailed analysis, sharing with management, or creating a permanent record of your discount strategy.

Before you start

  • Apply any filters you need before exporting, so the exported file contains only the data you want.
  • Ensure your browser allows downloads from Usystems (check your download settings if downloads fail).
  • For large reports (thousands of rows), exporting to Excel is usually faster and easier to work with than PDF.

Steps to export

  1. Go to Reports → Discounts by Product and set your filters as needed. Open in Usystems

  2. Look for the Export button near the top right of the report.

  3. Select your preferred format:

    • CSV — plain text, opens in any spreadsheet program.
    • Excel (.xlsx) — formatted spreadsheet, easiest to sort, filter, and add formulas.
    • PDF — formatted for printing or sharing; includes headers and styling.
  4. Click the format you want. The file will download to your computer.

  5. Open the downloaded file in your preferred application (Excel, Google Sheets, PDF reader, etc.).

Steps to print

  1. From the report page, look for the Print button or icon.

  2. Click it. Your browser's print dialog will open.

  3. Choose your printer and adjust settings (page orientation, margins, paper size).

  4. Click Print to send the report to your printer.

Tips for exports

  • Use Excel for analysis — if you need to calculate margins, create pivot tables, or compare products, export to Excel and use built-in functions.
  • Filter first, export second — exports respect your current filters. Apply filters before exporting to reduce file size and focus the data.
  • CSV for data import — if you need to import the report into another system, CSV format is the most compatible.
  • PDF for distribution — if you need to share the report with people who may not have Excel, PDF is the safest format.
