You can save or print the Discounts by User report for sharing with managers, keeping records, or including in presentations.

Before you start

  • Have the report open and generated with the filters you want to include.
  • Make sure your computer can print, or that you have file storage space if exporting.
  • Export files are typically saved in your Downloads folder unless you choose a different location.

Steps to export as a file

  1. With the report displayed, look for the Export or Download button on the report page.

  2. Choose your file format:

    • Excel (.xlsx) — most common for spreadsheets and analysis
    • PDF — best for sharing and printing; preserves formatting
    • CSV — simplest format; opens in any spreadsheet program
  3. Click the format you want.

  4. Your browser will prompt you to save the file. Choose where to save it and confirm.

  5. The file will download to your computer. You can now open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or another program.

Steps to print the report

  1. With the report displayed, look for the Print button (or use your browser's keyboard shortcut Ctrl+P or Cmd+P).

  2. A print preview will appear showing how the report will look on paper.

  3. Choose your printer and any print settings (color, single-sided, etc.).

  4. Click Print to send the report to your printer.

Tips & common mistakes

  • Large date ranges: reports covering many months or years may span multiple pages when printed. Consider exporting to PDF and adjusting page settings.
  • Excel editing: after exporting to Excel, you can further filter or pivot the data, but the underlying Usystems report will not update automatically if you change the spreadsheet.
  • PDF for presentations: PDF export is best if you need to show the report in a meeting or email it without the recipient being able to edit the data.
  • Column visibility: make sure all columns you need are visible in the report before exporting; some columns may be hidden by default.
