Filters and options in the Account Transfers & Account-to-Contact Movement report
Control which accounts and contacts appear in your transfer report output.

Report filters
| Filter | Purpose | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Start Date | Beginning of the reporting period | Transfers on or after this date are included. |
| End Date | End of the reporting period | Transfers on or before this date are included. |
| Accounts | Limit to specific accounts (source or destination) | Leave blank to include all accounts. Select multiple accounts if needed. |
| Contacts | Limit to transfers involving specific customers or vendors | Leave blank to include all contacts. |
| Transfer Type (if available) | Filter by the kind of transfer | Examples: Account-to-Account, Balance-to-Account, Account-to-Balance. |
Display options
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Show reference document | Displays the document (invoice, payment, journal entry) that triggered the transfer. Helpful for tracing back to the source. |
Tips
- Filter by one account to trace its movements. Select a single account to see all transfers in and out of that account.
- Filter by one contact to see their balance history. Select a customer or vendor to see every allocation or movement involving their balance.
- Combine filters for precision. Filter by both account and date range to pinpoint a specific movement.
