Understanding your dashboard and its widgets
Learn what each dashboard widget shows and how it helps you manage your business at a glance.
What is a Dashboard?
The dashboard is your personal command center in Usystems. When you log in, it displays a customizable set of widgets—small cards showing key information about your business—all in one view. Instead of navigating to different parts of the system to check sales, inventory, or financial health, your dashboard brings the most important data to you.
Why It Matters
A well-organized dashboard saves you time. At a glance, you can spot trends, monitor urgent tasks, and make quick decisions. Whether you're running a pharmacy, managing inventory, or overseeing accounting, your dashboard adapts to your role and priorities.
How It Works in Usystems
Dashboards are role-aware: an accountant sees different widgets than a pharmacy cashier. Common widgets include:
- Recent transactions: Latest invoices, bills, or sales orders you've created or modified
- Balance summary: Quick snapshot of customer balances, vendor balances, or cash position
- Inventory status: Low-stock alerts or high-turnover products
- Financial reports: Sales performance, expense summaries, or account balances
- Queue status: Number of patients waiting (for healthcare products)
- Task list or reminders: Pending approvals, overdue payments, or follow-ups
Widgets display real data linked to your product and tenant (company). If you have multiple ref_products (e.g., pharmacy and accounting modules), your dashboard may show widgets from both.
Where You See It
The dashboard appears immediately after login. Open in Usystems shows your live dashboard. Each widget is clickable—click a transaction count to jump to the transaction list, or click a low-stock alert to view inventory details.
