Before you start
- You need HR module access.
- Confirm that attendance records are complete for the date range you want to report on.
- Ensure employee work schedules and overtime rules are configured in your system.
Steps
-
Go to the Reports menu. Open in Usystems
-
Search for or browse to the HR & Payroll Reports section.
-
Click on Overtime Summary Report.
-
Select your desired filters (date range, department, or specific employees).
-
Click Generate Report or View Report to display the results.
-
Review the table showing each employee's overtime hours for the selected period.
Tips & common mistakes
- Always verify that your date range is correct before generating the report; a wide range can take longer to process.
- If you see zero overtime hours, check that overtime entries have been recorded and approved in your system.
- Use the filters to focus on specific departments or employees rather than running the full report every time.
- Export the report to Excel or PDF for offline review or sharing with payroll staff.
