Filters and options in the Payroll Payments report
Complete reference of all available filters to customize your Payroll Payments report output.

| Filter / Option | Purpose | Example |

| Date Range | Select the start and end date for payroll payments to include. Defaults to current month. | June 2026 – June 30, 2026 |
| Employee | Filter to show payments for one or more specific employees. Leave blank to show all. | Rashid, Ahmad, Zahra |
| Department | Narrow results to employees in a selected department or cost center. | Sales, Warehouse, Admin |
| Employee Status | Filter by active, inactive, or all employees. | Active only |
| Payment Method | Show only payments made via a specific method (bank transfer, cash, check). | Bank Transfer |
| Payment Status | Filter by paid, pending, or rejected payments. | Paid only |
| Currency | If your organization uses multiple currencies, select the currency to display amounts in. | AFN (Afghan Afghani) |

Common filter combinations
- Monthly review: Date Range = current month, Payment Status = Paid. Gives you all finalized payments for the month.
- Department audit: Department = [selected], Date Range = [selected quarter]. Isolates payroll costs by department.
- Bank reconciliation: Payment Method = Bank Transfer, Date Range = [current week]. Matches your bank statement.
- New employee verification: Employee = [newly hired], Date Range = [hire date onwards]. Confirms the new hire was added correctly.
