Available filters
| Filter | Purpose | Options |
|---|---|---|
| Date | Show queue status for a specific date | Any date in the past or today; defaults to today |
| Queue | Show only patients in a specific queue | All queues at your clinic (all selected by default) |
| Status | Show only patients in a specific status | Waiting, In Consultation, Completed (all selected by default) |
| Department (if applicable) | Limit report to one department's queues | All departments (if your clinic is multi-department) |
How to use filters
- Locate the filter panel at the top of the report (usually on the left side).
- Click on any filter to expand it and see available options.
- Check or uncheck the boxes next to the options you want to include.
- Click Apply or Refresh to update the report with your selections.
- To reset filters, look for a Clear or Reset button, or manually uncheck all custom selections.
Filter combinations
You can combine filters for more precise results:
- Date + Status: Show only "Waiting" patients on a specific date.
- Queue + Status: See how many patients are "In Consultation" in a particular queue.
- Date + Queue + Status: Very specific snapshot (e.g., all "Completed" patients in the Pharmacy Queue on July 1st).
Tips
- Filtering by date in the past is useful for reviewing historical snapshots — for example, comparing a busy day to a slow day.
- If you filter out all options in a category, the report will show no data; make sure at least one option is selected per filter.
- The report always includes a grand total row, even when filters are applied.
