Choosing a theme and font size

You can customize how Usystems looks by choosing a color theme (light, dark, or auto) and adjusting the font size. These settings let you reduce eye strain and match your work environment.

Before you start

• You must be logged into Usystems.
• Theme and font size are saved to your user account.
• Changing these settings does not affect your data or anyone else's view.

Steps

1. Open your user menu. Click your name or avatar in the top-right corner.

2. Go to Settings. Select Settings from the dropdown menu. Open in Usystems

3. Find Appearance settings. Look for the Appearance or Theme section.

4. Choose a color theme:

   • Light — bright, clean background with dark text (good for well-lit spaces)
   • Dark — dark background with light text (easier on the eyes in dim lighting)
   • Auto — follows your device's system preference (switches based on time of day or setting)

5. Adjust font size. Look for the Font Size slider or buttons:

   • Drag the slider to increase or decrease text size.
   • Or click the + and − buttons to adjust in steps.
   • Common sizes: small, medium, large, extra-large.

6. Save your choices. Click Save or Confirm if prompted. Changes take effect immediately.

Tips & common mistakes

• Auto theme syncs with your device. If your phone or computer switches to dark mode at sunset, Usystems will too.
• Font size applies everywhere—reports, forms, tables, and menus all scale together.
• Very large fonts may require more scrolling on smaller screens, but improve readability.
• High-contrast themes (light/dark) help reduce eye strain during long work sessions.
• If buttons or text look cut off after resizing, refresh the page. The layout will adjust.
