Common filter combinations
- Unpaid invoices sorted by days outstanding: Quickly identify which customers owe you money and how overdue each invoice is.
- Unpaid by customer: See all outstanding invoices from a specific customer to understand their total credit exposure.
- Paid invoices by date range: Analyze payment patterns by month or quarter.
- Unpaid invoices over a certain amount: Focus on high-value overdue receivables that need priority follow-up.
Tips for using filters
- Start with payment status. First filter to show only unpaid invoices if you want to focus on cash collection.
- Combine filters for precision: Use multiple filters together (e.g., unpaid + customer name + date range) to narrow down to exactly what you need.
- Sort the results: Many reports let you click column headers to sort by invoice date, amount, or days outstanding.
- Clear filters to reset: If you apply filters and want to see all data again, click the reset button or manually clear each filter.
