Switching between products

If your company uses multiple Usystems products (accounting, pharmacy, inventory, etc.), you can switch between them without logging out. This allows you to work across different modules in a single session.

Before you start

• You are logged into Usystems.
• Your admin has given you access to more than one product.
• You know the name of the product you want to switch to.

Steps

1. Look for your user menu. In the top right corner of the screen, find your user menu. This is usually your name, initials, or a profile icon.

2. Click on your user menu. A dropdown menu will appear showing various options.

3. Find the product switch option. Look for an option labeled:

   • "Switch Product"
   • "Change Product"
   • "Select Product"
   • Or a list of available products shown directly in the menu.

4. Choose the product you want. Click on the product you need to switch to. The system will load that product.

5. Wait for the product to load. The page will refresh and load the dashboard or home page of your new product. This usually takes a few seconds.

6. Confirm you're in the right product. Check the top of the page or the main navigation to confirm the product name has changed.

Alternative: Using the breadcrumb or navigation menu

• In some layouts, you may see your current product name in the header or navigation. Click on it to see a dropdown of available products.
• Some products may have a "Product selector" button or icon at the top of the page.

Tips & common mistakes

• Your work in one product does not affect data in another product. Switching is safe and does not lose any unsaved work (though you should save changes before switching if you've been editing).
• If you're in the middle of editing a document and switch products, you may lose unsaved changes. Always save before switching if you've made edits.
• If you only see one product, your admin may not have enabled others for your account. Contact your admin to request access to additional products.
• You can switch products as many times as you need without logging out.
