Filters and Options in the Inventory Reconciliation Report
Use these filters to narrow the reconciliation scope to match your physical count area or audit requirements.
Available filters
| Filter | Options | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Warehouse | Dropdown list of your warehouses | Select one warehouse to reconcile only that location. Leave blank to include all warehouses. |
| Product Category | Dropdown or checkboxes | Reconcile only specific product categories (e.g., medications, consumables, spare parts). |
| Reconciliation Date | Date picker | Reconcile as of a specific date. The report shows system quantities as of that date. |
| Include Zero-Stock Items | Yes / No checkbox | If enabled, shows products with zero system quantity (useful to verify items marked as sold out). Default is off to reduce clutter. |
| Status | Active / Inactive / All | Include only active products, only discontinued items, or both. |
Report display options
| Option | Effect |
|---|---|
| Group by Warehouse | Organizes rows by warehouse location if reconciling multiple warehouses. |
| Sort by Variance | Orders rows by variance amount (greatest discrepancies first), useful for prioritizing adjustments. |
| Show Historical Adjustments | Displays prior adjustment records for each product (if available). |
Tips for using filters effectively
- Reconcile by warehouse. If your warehouse is large, split reconciliation by section or warehouse to match your counting process.
- Use date filters for cycle counts. If you count different sections on different days, use the date filter to reconcile only the products counted on a specific day.
- Filter by category when you discover problems. If you spot spoilage in one product category, filter by that category to identify all affected items.
