Quick tips

  • Save your work often. Each section saves independently; don't wait until the end.
  • Prescriptions go to pharmacy instantly. No need to write them down or call pharmacy.
  • Lab results are not instant. Lab technicians process and upload them; check back in a few hours or the next day.
  • You can re-open a closed case. If you forget something, just search for the patient and open their case again.
  • Allergies are red flags. Always read them before prescribing. If a patient says "I'm allergic to penicillin," make a note in the case so you don't repeat it.
  • If a patient needs a specialist referral, write it in the examination notes and tell your clinic manager in person. Usystems doesn't have an automated referral system yet.
