FAQ: Printing Sales Receipts

Can I print a receipt that is already recorded?

Yes. Once a sales receipt is saved in Usystems, you can print it anytime. Go to the sales receipt list, find it, and click the print option.

What if my receipt looks cut off or has weird spacing when I print?

This usually means the template needs adjustment, or your print settings are wrong. Try these fixes:

• Change the page orientation (landscape instead of portrait, or vice versa) in the print dialog.
• Adjust the margins or paper size in the browser's print settings.
• Ask your administrator to review and update the receipt template to fit your paper size.

Can I print multiple receipts at once?

Usystems does not have a bulk print feature. You will need to print each receipt individually. To save time, you can open multiple receipt tabs in your browser and print them one after another.

What information appears on a sales receipt?

A standard sales receipt typically includes:

• Company name and contact details
• Date and receipt number
• Customer name and contact (if available)
• List of items or services sold, with quantities and prices
• Subtotal, tax (if applicable), and total amount
• Payment method (cash, card, account, etc.)

Your administrator can customize which fields appear on your receipt template.

Can I email or send a receipt to the customer?

Usystems does not have a built-in feature to send receipts by email or WhatsApp. However, you can print the receipt to PDF and then send it manually via email, messaging, or your preferred channel.

Is there a way to reprint an old receipt with the same number?

Yes. Find the original receipt in the sales receipt list, and print it again. The receipt number will be the same. Usystems does not create a new receipt when you reprint; it uses the original transaction.

What if the printer is not working?

Try saving the receipt as a PDF first (choose "Save as PDF" in the print dialog) and troubleshoot your printer separately. Once the printer is fixed, you can print the PDF file.
