What this does
The sales orders list page shows all your sales orders in one place. You can use search terms and filters to find specific orders by customer, status, date, or other fields—useful when you have dozens or hundreds of orders and need to locate one quickly.
Before you start
- You have access to the Sales Orders page (typically available to users with sales or admin permissions).
- At least one sales order exists in your system.
Steps
-
Go to the Sales Orders list Open in Usystems
-
Search by keyword (optional)
- In the search box near the top of the page, type a customer name, order code, or any text you want to find.
- Usystems searches across order codes, customer names, and descriptions.
- Press Enter or wait for results to update automatically.
-
Filter by status (optional)
- Look for a Status filter button or dropdown.
- Select one or more statuses: Draft, Confirmed, Completed, or Cancelled.
- The list updates to show only orders matching the selected status.
-
Filter by customer (optional)
- Look for a Customer filter.
- Begin typing the customer's name or choose from a dropdown list.
- The list updates to show only that customer's orders.
-
Filter by date (optional)
- Some systems offer a Date Range or Created Date filter.
- Choose a start and end date, or select a preset range (e.g., "This Month").
- The list updates to show only orders created within that range.
-
Combine filters
- You can apply multiple filters at once (e.g., status = "Confirmed" AND customer = "ABC Corp").
- Filters are additive—each one narrows the results further.
-
Clear filters
- To reset all filters and see the full list again, look for a Clear Filters or Reset button, usually near the filter controls.
Tips & common mistakes
- Use partial names: you don't need to type the full customer name. "Ahmed" will find "Ahmed Import" or "Ahmed Telecom".
- Save filter combinations: if you frequently search for the same combination (e.g., Confirmed orders for a specific region), note the filters for next time—or ask your admin if filters can be saved as views.
- Check the sort order: by default, orders may be sorted by creation date (newest first) or status. You can often click a column header to re-sort, making it easier to find the most recent or oldest orders.
- Remember that Draft orders may not appear if you filter by "Confirmed"—make sure your filter settings match what you're looking for.
