I can't log in
Common reasons why login fails and how to fix each one.
Symptom
You are trying to log in at your company's Usystems login page, but the login fails. The page may show an error message, or your username and password may not be accepted.
Likely causes (in order)
1. Incorrect password
How to tell: The login page shows "Invalid credentials" or "Login failed."
Fix: Double-check your password for typos. Passwords are case-sensitive (for example, Password123 is different from password123).
If you are unsure of your password, reset it: go to the login page and click the password reset link. You will receive an email with instructions to create a new password.
2. Account not yet created or inactive
How to tell: The login page shows "User not found" or similar.
Fix: Your account may not have been created yet, or it may have been deactivated by an administrator. Contact your system administrator to confirm that your user account exists and is active.
3. Wrong login URL
How to tell: The page you are accessing is not the correct login address for your company.
Fix: Check that you are using the correct login URL for your organization. Your system administrator or IT team can provide the correct address. It usually looks like https://yourcompany.usystems.af/login (where "yourcompany" is your organization's domain).
If you are unsure of the correct URL, you can ask your administrator or try the general Usystems login page — your company's domain will direct you.
4. Browser cache or cookies
How to tell: The page seems "stuck" or you see an old error message even after trying multiple times.
Fix:
- Clear your browser's cookies and cached data:
- Chrome/Edge: Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac) → Select "Cookies and cached images" → Click "Clear data" → Refresh the login page.
- Safari: Menu → Develop → Empty Web Storage → Try logging in again.
- Firefox: Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac) → Select "Cookies" and "Cache" → Click "Clear Now" → Refresh the login page.
Then close and reopen your browser and try logging in again.
5. Temporary system issue
How to tell: The page is very slow, shows an error, or times out.
Fix:
- Wait a few moments and try again.
- Try logging in from a different browser or device to confirm the problem is not on your computer.
- If the problem persists, contact your system administrator to check if the server is experiencing an outage.
When to contact support
If none of the above steps work, contact your system administrator with the following information:
- Your username
- The exact error message you see (take a screenshot if possible)
- The date and time you tried to log in
- The device and browser you are using (e.g., Chrome on Windows 10)
This information will help your administrator investigate the issue.
