What Is a Constellation?
The core concept: how a constellation groups related tenants without merging their data.
A tenant in USystems is a single, fully isolated facility or clinic network — its own users, patient records, and billing. A constellation is a lightweight grouping on top of that: it tells USystems which tenants belong to the same parent organization, without touching how any individual tenant's data is stored.
Nothing about a tenant's day-to-day operation changes when it's added to a constellation. The difference only shows up for the parent organization, which gains access to cross-tenant views — reports and dashboards that summarize activity across every tenant in the group, scoped by whatever permissions the parent account holds.
Think of it as a folder, not a merger: the tenants inside stay completely separate, but someone with the right access can see all of them at once.
