Step 1 — Company profile: name, logo, address and contact details
Enter your company's identity and basic contact information.
What this step does
Step 1 captures your company's official name, visual branding (logo), mailing address, and contact details. This information appears on all printed documents (invoices, receipts, reports) and is used by the system to identify your organization.
Before you start
- Have your company's legal name and official address ready.
- Prepare a logo file (PNG, JPEG, or SVG) if you want to use one on printed documents; if not, you can skip this.
- Gather your company's main phone number, email address, and website (if you have one).
- Note any tax ID or business registration number—you may see a field for this depending on your country.
Steps
-
Open the Setup Wizard. It appears automatically on your first login. If you need to return to it later, go to Settings → Company Setup. Open in Usystems
-
Enter your company name in the field labeled "Company Name." This must be your legal business name.
-
Upload your logo (optional). Click the logo upload area and choose an image file from your computer. The wizard will resize it for use on documents. If you do not have a logo yet, you can skip this and add it later.
-
Enter your address: city, province/state, country, and postal code as shown in the form. This address will print on your official documents.
-
Add contact details:
- Phone number (main business line)
- Email address (where customers and vendors can reach you)
- Website (optional)
-
Review your entries and select Continue to advance to Step 2.
Accounting impact
This step does not create any journal entries or account movements. It is purely informational and affects the appearance of documents you print or send.
Tips & common mistakes
- Logo format: if your logo does not appear correctly after upload, try a PNG or JPEG file instead of SVG, and ensure the file size is under 2 MB.
- Address changes: you can edit your company address at any time in Settings → Company Details, even after setup is complete. Changes will apply to future documents.
- Multiple addresses: if you have branch offices with different addresses, you can add those as separate locations in the contacts or warehouse setup later.
- Phone/email validation: the system does not validate phone numbers or email formats during setup—enter them exactly as you want them to appear on documents.
