Your Account & Profile

Editing your profile and photo

Update your name, contact details, and profile picture in your Usystems account.

Jul 11, 2026

Your profile holds your name, email, phone number, and photo—the details that identify you in the system and appear to colleagues. You can update these details at any time.

Before you start

  • You need an active Usystems account.
  • Only you can edit your own profile; admins cannot change it for you.
  • Your username cannot be changed from the profile page (see "Changing your username or email" for that).

Steps

  1. Click your name or profile photo in the top-right corner of the page. Open in Usystems

  2. Select Profile Settings or My Profile from the menu.

  3. In the Personal Details section, update:

    • Full name – Your given and family names.
    • Phone number – A contact number (format varies by region).
    • Bio or about me (optional) – A short description colleagues may see.
  4. To change your profile photo:

    • Click the upload or camera icon on your current photo.
    • Select an image from your computer (JPG, PNG; usually under 2 MB).
    • Crop or position the photo as needed, then confirm.
  5. Review your changes and click Save or Update Profile.

Tips & common mistakes

  • Photo formats: use JPG or PNG. The system will resize it to fit the profile circle; allow a margin around your face.
  • Phone numbers: if your organization operates in multiple countries, include the country code (e.g., +93 for Afghanistan).
  • No validation: the system accepts any entry you type, so double-check spelling and numbers before saving.
  • Changes are instant: updates take effect immediately; no approval or restart needed.
